Assessment

Assessment refers to the clarification of a specific question. Various sources of information are used for this.

We can talk of an early childhood educational assessment if a child is being assessed for (possible) giftedness with a view to providing them with appropriate support in the Kita or at school. A psychological assessment often plays a supporting role when a child has more complex problems and may include identifying the level of intelligence (IQ test).
