Family centers

Family centers provide easily accessible services for children, parents, and families. These centers operate on a community- and network-oriented basis and can make a contribution via their various activities to supporting gifted young children by enabling discussions and contacts as well as providing information and advice for the individualized support of children.

Family centers can thus function as places in which active members of the community (e.g., midwives, music teachers, social services, and political representatives) and families can network easily. This can also help spread awareness of other ways of supporting giftedness.
