Learning Therapy
-
Learning therapy is targeted educational and psychological support for children, adolescents, and adults with learning disorders in reading, writing, or math. Gifted children and adolescents can also benefit from learning therapy if they have a learning disorder.
Learning therapy is based on comprehensive, development-focused assessment, from which specific therapeutic goals are derived. These goals may include not only improving reading, writing, or math skills, but also addressing related psychological issues, such as school anxiety. During learning therapy, diagnosis-guided support is provided, tailored to the specific learning profile of the gifted child or adolescent.
