The term “resilience” refers to a person’s ability to withstand psychological stress. This can be observed in how people cope with frustration, disappointments, crises, and difficult times in their lives.

Resource orientation

Resource orientation is the term used to describe the educational and advisory attitude that focuses on the personal strengths, potentials, and abilities of a person and their environment. Not just the resources themselves but also raising a person’s awareness of them and reinforcing them are seen as essential for learning-related and personal development.

Revolving door model

With the revolving door model (in German: “Drehtürmodell”), gifted students are pulled out of their classroom lessons for one or more periods in order to spend this time, for example, attending a lesson in a higher grade, working on their own projects, preparing for competitions, or completing junior studies.
