Revolving door model
-
With the revolving door model (in German: “Drehtürmodell”), gifted students are pulled out of their classroom lessons for one or more periods in order to spend this time, for example, attending a lesson in a higher grade, working on their own projects, preparing for competitions, or completing junior studies.
The revolving door model is a flexible way of supporting students individually and is usually directed at gifted, highly gifted, or particularly high-achieving students.
